Do’s and don’ts for spring season

🌼 Sun slowly become strong,days are getting longer, heat increase in day,mornings and night are still bit cold, new leaves, flowers are blooming on trees and birds sings in joy of beautiful nature and welcoming king of all seasons
‘ VASANT’.😍

🌼 Like every thing around us in nature is changing with the advent of spring our body also undergo changes to balance that some diet and lifestyle changes are suggested by Ayurvedic acharyas.👍😊
🌼 In spring kapha dosha which accumulated in winters start melting due to increase in heat which can causes diseases if not removed or balanced.😳
🌼 Low digestive strength, low appetite, lethargy, fatigue, respiratory allergies, body ache, heaviness, sore throat etc are some of the disorders of this season. 🙄

🌺 Vasant ritu comprises of 2 months chaitra and vishakha. 🌷

💁‍♀️Lifestyle to follow
👉Wake up early as it prevents kapha aggravation. 🌸
👉 Use bitter neem twig to clean teeth and do oil pulling to remove kapha. 🌺
👉 Do til oil massage. 🌻
👉Exercise is a must in this season. 🏋️‍♂️
👉Take bath with warm water, do not use cold or extremely hot water.🙂
-👉Do udvartana ( dry massage) with barley floor, besan, turmeric, karpur, chandan, lodhra, neem etc, it helps in removing extra fat of body.🙃
👉Apply oil in nostrils (nasya) and anjan in eyes.🤩
👉 Avoid sleeping in day time.
👉keep body covered, prevent direct contact with air. 🌼
👉Spend time in nature, visit gardens enjoy colours of nature as it is good for mental health. 🌸🌼💐🌹

💁‍♀️Diet to follow

✅ Do not eat same food which is consumed in winters like do not use sweet taste (laddoos, jaggery etc), citrus fruits and fats.
✅Include old or roasted grains. ✅Have Wheat, Jau, rice and moong daal, avoid urad daal.
✅ Include bitter(karela, methi, neem) , astringent(amla, harad) and pungent( chilly) taste, avoid sweet, sour and salty food.
✅Avoid cold and heavy food.

✅Drink boiled water, herbs like shunthi, jeera, nagarmotha etc can be added in water.

✅Use milk and milk products like ghee, curd, makhan in less amount.
✅Drink honey with lukewarm water.

✅Have ayurvedic asav, arishth and decoctions according to your requirement, consult ayurvedic doctor for that.

🤔Which detox therapy to follow??

👉To clean body channels vaman(therapeutic vomiting) is suggested in this season.
👉Other than vaman nasya, abhyangam can also be done under Ayurvedic doctor guidance.
