Jamun(Indian Blackberry) – useful in controlling blood sugar and many other health issues.

🌺Jamun is native of India🇮🇳, in fact India was used to known as jambu dweep only due to presence of jamun trees in abundance.😀
🌺This berry is full of goodness its fruit, seeds, bark and leaves all are of medicinal importance.

🌺It’s fruits are available at the end of summer and starting of monsoon.

🌺It is sweet, sour and astringent in taste.
Dry and light to digest
It is cold in nature.
It balance kapha and pitta, it increases vata dosha.
🌺It is good source of amino acid and minerals like calcium, potassium,sodium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and copper.It contain Vitamins like A, B1, B2, B6, folic acid and vitamin c .

👉It increases digestive fire, improves appetite and digestion of food. 😋
👉Protect and Activate liver

👉Anti diabetic, it helps in controlling blood sugar level also sugar in urine. It’s seed powder is used in diabetes. 😊

👉Good for those who are weak or losing weight continously. 💪

👉Due to its absorbent action, its seed powder is useful in loose motions, IBS, diarrhoea and dysentery. 👌
👉It is useful in bleeding disorders like bleeding from nose, bleeding from anus and bleeding from gums.🌼

How to use it??

🌷Consume its crimson Fruit or fruit juice.
🌷 vinegar from its fruit can be used.
🌷Seed powder is specially useful in diabetes.
🌷Bark decoction
🌷Leaves decoction

🌻Note
👉Do not use it in excess as it may cause constipation, bloating and other vayu disorders.

👉Have it with rock Salt or black salt to prevent bloating and constipation.
👉Avoid it in vata time of day(2pm-6pm), best time to have it is pitta time(10am-2 pm) .
👉By Vata person or in vattic disorders it should be consumed less.
