Chironji or Charoli’s uses in different health problems.

🌺Chiron ji or charoli is known as priyal in Ayurveda.

🌺Almost all the parts of the tree are used in some or the other forms. Fruits are eaten raw; they taste a bit like sweet grapes.

🌺The fruit of the chironji tree bears a single edible seed, which is known as Chironji
🌺Charoli’s seed tastes like almond so it can be used in place of Almonds as well.

🌺It is used to garnish many sweet dishes.
🌺Charoli is easily available at grocery shop.

🌺Along with its nutty taste it has many health benefits.

👉It is sweet in taste
👉It is heavy to digest and unctuous in nature.

👉It balances Vata, pitta and increase kapha.

👉Chironji is a valuable source of protein and fat with a relatively lower calories count

Health benefits of chironji

✅It uses in different conditions is mentioned in Ayurvedic text, it is used in many Ayurvedic medicines also.

✅Chironji helps in improving weight, so for children and elderly people it is great source of nourishment.

✅It increases strength and immunity of body, those with weakness and fatigue should include it in their diet.
Sportsmen can use chironji nuts for improving their performance.

✅It is useful in vata health issues like gas, weight loss, pain, less sleep and dry skin.

✅Pitta problem like ulcer,excessive sweating, feeling excessive heat and in  bleeding disorders chironji is useful.

✅Charoli  increases muscle strength, if someone feels muscular pain due to long standing can include charoli in diet.

✅Its oil is useful in hairfall and early greying of hair.
✅Dandruff, a major problem of the hair, is caused by the dryness of the scalp. The dried skin of the scalp comes out in the form of flakes, which then causes itching and redness of the skin. Chironji oil may provide oiliness essential for the scalp, which, when applied to the scalp, may provide moisture and nutrients to the scalp and the hair. 
Also Chironji oil may balance the Pita and Vata dosh and treats dandruff, itching, and redness of the scalp.

✅It improves skin complexion, reduces swelling on face
Conditions like acne, pimples or uneven skin tone are basically caused by the lack of moisture in the facial skin. Chironji seeds or seed paste may have high a quantity of oils and fats, which function as a good moisturising agent. The oil or its seed paste can be applied locally to treat acne, pimples, and blemishes on the face.

✅The chironji oil may be used to reduce the itching and redness in various skin diseases.

✅It is good for heart.

✅It relieves constipation but its excessive use can cause constipation.
✅As it is cold in nature it relives burning sensation in body , in eyes, neuropathy, gastritis, fever and  excessive thirst

✅It is useful in giddiness and  headache.

✅Charoli is useful in painful urination, burning in  urine and  pus in urin.

✅Charoli helps in weight loss, Chironji seeds are power-packed with proteins, vitamins and oils. Also, they are low in calories. Due to this property of chironji seeds, they may be included in the diet chart of people with obesity.
The digestion of the seed takes time, thus, it may keep one fuller for a longer time and aids in weight loss.

✅Chironji acts as brain tonic and provides a positive energy to the mind.
✅It have anti diarrhoeal, anti-anaemia  and  wounds healing properties.

🤔HOW to use chironji?

👉It can be eaten directly or after roasting or frying in oil to enhance its flavor.

👉 Chironji seeds can be used in sweets like kheer oe halva , traditional sauces and as flavoring ingredients in various Indian recipes.

👉5-10 seeds raw or roasted can be taken with breakfast.

🌺Is there any side effects of charoli?

👉There is no side effects of charoli but avoid it  in indigestion.
