Do and don’t in vitiligo or leucoderma..

☘️Vitiligo, leucoderma or shwet kushtha is a condition where particular part of skin started getting white due to impaired production of melanin pigment ,there is no pain or discharge, it size, shape and location may vary.
☘️It’s Ayurvedic treatment should be started as early as possible.
☘️In ayurveda first step of treatment is nidan parivarjan that is removing or staying away from the cause of problem, for that some diet and habits changes are suggested.

❌Avoid incompatible foods like eating hot and cold things together, milk with salt etc.
❌ Avoid excessive liquid intake.

❌Avoid new grains, maida and cornflour.

❌Avoid excess of sour, salt, sweet and pungent taste.

❌Avoid urad daal. Other dal like moog, Mansoor, toor etc can be eaten.

❌Sambhar masala, chana masala, pavbhaji masala and  amchur.

❌Amla, raw onion, tomato and green chilly.

❌Avoid – curd, buttermilk and kadhi

❌Orange, mango, kiwi, apple, pineapple, guava, litchi, pomegranate, sugarcane and peaches.

❌Bakery gelatin, jelly, sour fruit flavoured ice-cream like strawberry, pineapple, mango flavored.

❌ Pizza, pasta, burgers and Chinese food.
❌ Cold drink, sour fruit juices

❌Avoid perfumes, deodorant, hair dye, use herbal products in there place.

❌Avoid day sleep.

❌Avoid having cold water immediately after exposure to heat.

❌Don’t speak and  think bad about elders. Don’t be thankless and disrespectful to others.

✅Includes – Black pepper, saindha salt, turmeric, ajwain, sauth, cumin, coriander, methi, garm masala and  red chili.

✅Include wheat, rice, barley, oats, bajra, Jowar, besan and suji.

✅Karela, parwal, lauki, ginger, turai, radish, garlic and green leafy vegetables.

✅Include – ghee, milk and makkhan.
Banana, chiku, pear, watermelon, musk melon, singhada and coconut.

✅All dry fruits except raisin and munakka can be taken.

✅ Besan sweets, khoya sweets, chocolate, vanilla or butterscotch ice-cream.

✅ Rose or khas sharbat, thandai, green tea, coffee, sattu, coconut water, carrot juice, Lauki juice, beetroot juice and wheatgrass juice.

✅Use herbal skin products.

✅Do prayer, fasting , chanting aditya hriday strota , visiting pilgrimage⛪ and charity .
